1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function efficiently and provide information to the website owner.
2. Cookies We Currently Use
The Platform is built on Moodle. Today, the Platform uses only:
- Strictly necessary session and security cookies — required for login, security, and core site functionality. These cannot be switched off and do not require consent.
- Functional storage for language and display preferences, where applicable.
Analytics cookies and marketing/advertising cookies are not currently enabled on the Platform. We do not currently use Google Analytics, embed tracked YouTube videos, or run a Meta Pixel or any other advertising tracker.
If we enable non-essential tracking (analytics or marketing) in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and add appropriate consent controls before that tracking is activated — not after.
3. Managing Cookies
Because the Platform currently uses only strictly necessary cookies and functional preference storage, no cookie consent banner is presented today — strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under applicable law. You can still control cookies through your own browser settings at any time. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Platform (such as logging in) from working.
4. Cookie Duration
- Session cookies: deleted when you close your browser.
- Any persistent preference cookie (e.g. language choice): retained until you clear your browser storage or change the preference.
5. Updates to This Policy
We will update this Cookie Policy before enabling any new category of cookie or tracking technology, and will note the change here with an updated date.
