1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Smart Learning Academy's online learning platform (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at smart-learning@smartacademy.ae if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Course Access & Intellectual Property

All course materials, videos, assessments, and content available on the Platform are the exclusive property of Smart Learning Academy or its licensed content providers and are protected by UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighboring Rights. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access purchased content for personal, non-commercial use only.

You must not:

• Download, reproduce, distribute, or resell any course content.
• Share your login credentials or grant access to third parties.
• Use automated tools to scrape or copy Platform content.
• Create derivative works based on our materials without written permission.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use the Platform in a lawful manner. You must not post, transmit, or upload any content that is defamatory, offensive, fraudulent, or in violation of applicable UAE law. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend users without notice for violations.

6. Payment & Billing

Where a course or service is offered for purchase, it is offered as a one-time purchase. Prices, where shown, are listed in UAE Dirhams (AED). Payment processing applies only when and where a payment gateway has been enabled for that purchase — not every course on the Platform currently has an active purchase path. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

Smart Learning Academy provides the Platform on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damage arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of data or interruption of service.

8. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to the competent courts of Sharjah.

9. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
